Brother HL-1240

 

A monochrome laser printer that's inexpensive and fast enough for most home-office printing needs.

This entry-level laser printer is a fast and efficient single-user model.

Old and still working

 

When our newer laser died, I plunged this thing in and it worked. Some two reams later and it is still going strong. The other printer is less than a year old, but the warrantee doesn't help on Friday afternoon when you need to print now and it's down ...

Made in Dec 2000 and still works in July of 2008.

driver300 dpi xp driver600 dpi if you find another.

I Like It

 

I bought this unit because I was printing out a bunch of stuff for school and I was spending a fortune on ink cartridges. Plus, I was submitting resumes and law school applications, and the laser just looks more professional.
