Brother MFC-5895CW

Adding A3 print to a wireless, inkjet all-in-one should be a bonus, but only if it handles it at a reasonable speed.

Full-bleed A3 photos, Memory card slots including Compact Flash, Telescopic paper feed tray

Very slow photo prints, Paper misfeeds, Irritating beeps

Could'nt be easier to setup

This entire printer costs a little more than some ink cartridge refills for some other printers.

Works out of the box with no need to read any instructions to setup. Intelligently designed. Ink installs easy in it's own loading bay. Quiet and cable free All in One

Don't plan on FTP

Not a good printer. Brother was a sewing machine manufacturer and it shows.

Got a decent price on it, seems better on ink than HP

No Web front-end, all settings must be painstakingly entered via the printers menu button. Scan to FTP forgets your FTP server's IP after EVERY SCAN. IP takes 67 (!) key-presses to enter as you must cycle through the alphanumeric buttons. This is a...

Brother

Don't know what the other person is talking about I've own brothers for many years now, Self cleaning you can set to clean once a day (when ever) or you can set it manual and clean it when ever you want. The ink (new ink not refills) online (newegg...

Don't own this one but do own the 495cw and if this printer is half of the 495cw this is a good buy! Had to leave a feedback on the other persons comment. On the 495cw wireless works great I have it set up on two networks, fax is sending and receiving...

The 495cw copy's/fax's about 20-30 pages wish it did more like this 5895cw which is 50 pages, but sure it'll to closer to 75

Do not buy Brother printers

If your in the market for a printer check out the Epson. You will not be dissapointed.

They used to be good and have a good reputation

Last year my Brother printer was acting up and bought an Epson printer instead. I've had the Epson printer for almost a year and the ink has not ran out yet and I print a lot. The Brother printer cleans itself at 2AM. I should know because it wakes me...

Good value

Bought this MFC at a good price and am generally happy with it. I bought it for 2 reason: I need 11x17 capability and it has a self-contained paper tray that doesn't stick out front to gather dust and take up desk space. BUT on the Con side: it's half...

Buy a J4710w instead

I have bought 2 Brother machines, one for home and one for my school location. This second for school was the 5895cw as I wanted the larger paper option (11x17). I immediately went for Brother, as the J4710w set up so easy. However this one did NOT set...

Very functional machine

This is my second Brother All-in-One printer purchase. I've been using it now for a month and have had absolutely no problems or issues with the unit. I'm very pleased with the output, the scans, the faxes, and the copies. I'm concerned with the small...

A concern

This my 3rd Brother Printer and the first one where you have to clean the printer heads each time you use it even if it has not been used for 24 hours.
