MFC -7820

Brother seems to have good back up. Will try again to fix network issue. First REP i called said could not fix network problem. Subsequent call on another matter-rep said he could help.

Very capable machine. Easy set up with USB. makes decent copies. Owned this for 3 years and would consider it again, Now at 30% lower price. Still works OK

Problem with auto feed. Limited platen size-will not accommodate legal size documents. Had problems with network set up

Almost Perfect

I wish it had been this cheap when I bought it but, if I had to do it all over again, I'd still buy it at the price I paid. Also, the drum could be cheaper but I've never had to replace mine. It's probably only suited to people like me who print...

It's a laser that copies and faxes. What's more, it's completely independent of any computer. I paid $350 for it over two years ago and I don't regret it. I'm still running off the original toner cartridge and having no problems at all. It has already...

It doesn't print color or duplex. It's noisy when it prints but all lasers are

MFC7820N LASER P/S/C/F PC FAX FB 35-ADF ENET 2400X600 20PPM 33.6K

Perfect machine for small office or personal use where color is not needed. This machine has been perfect for the first 60 days of use. NO MORE dry inkjet problems! Thank you Brother!

Compact size, light weight, VERY efficient, true "all in one" for print, copy, scan and fax.

Can't think of any.

excellent machine with lots of features. Very easy to use and space saving plus its Energy Star rated.

easy to use and very easy to setup

copying quality could be a little better (might be caused from paper im scanning)

In general, it does what it is supposed to do and what it claims to do, although I was surprised to discover that when it is connected via Ethernet it cannot receive a fax and store it on the PC, but either has to print it or forward it (if connected...

Straightforward, simple to set up, copying, printing, and manual faxing are intuitive and work well, accessible via the network

Scanning and PC directed operations for copying and faxing via the network require use of somewhat clunky software ; can't receive faxes to the PC via the MFC over the network

Great Office Solution

Wonderful solution to a home office (and I'm still using the demo ink.. for a year and a 1/2 now. ;-)

official Linux support (working on Ubuntu) via brothers website, colored flatbed and feed scanner, network ready (no fussing with usb cables). And... it just works

A bit slow at printing anything with a pic

Nice all-in-one

This machine is all I expected and more. I use it in a networked configuration. Copy and print quality is excellent. The real surprise is the scanning; after using this, I shelved my old USB-connected scanner. Once you install the software on a...

Great at printing, faxing, scanning and copying. Excellent output quality. Suprisingly good OCR on scanning

First copy a little slow (after waking from sleep mode); not a really big deal

Good printer

There were some reviews saying that they couldn't get the printer to network properly due to firewall issues. I got mine to work with Zero problems through my linksys router. Scans to and prints from everywhere with no problems.

Seems to be a good, solid printer. Brothers have always done well by me in the past, and this one seems to be following suite. Does everything it says it can, and for the most part does it well

Prints envelopes pretty poorly. Has issues with "ghosting" them for some reason. The quality of the envelope seems to have an effect, however

GUT!

Unable to manage as many features through network manager as older printers.... But a good printer for the cost.

Easy Setup, Nice network print management, reliable so far

Printer is connected to a network with a static. When the printer goes into sleep mode and a user sends a job, the printer isn't brought out of that state. It just queues up jobs until it is power cycled, then spits them all out. After turning sleep...
