Brother MFC-J5720DW

The Brother MFC-J5720DW inkjet multifunction printer delivers decent speed and output quality. More importantly, it offers a low running cost and has the ability to print at up to 11 by 17 inches.

Two 250-sheet trays for up to tabloid size (11-by-17-inch) paper. Duplex (two-sided) printing, scanning, and copying. Low running cost.

Lackluster speed and output quality on our tests.

That said, keep in mind that the Brother MFC-J5720DW offers perfectly acceptable speed and output quality, and it also delivers excellent paper handling, mobile printing and scanning, highly useful Web-related features, and a notably low cost per page....

Brother MFC-J5720DW

Brother's range of occasional A3 all-in-ones has carved out a niche in the home-office printer market. This top-of-the-range machine has a long feature list and is full of useful abilities, top of which is A3 printing.

A user-friendly inkjet with decent speed and great features – and the price is very right.

Stick to monochrome printing and you’ll be 10,000 pages down the line before you’ve even outlaid the bare purchase price of most other printers.

Brother Business Smart MFC-J5720DW

This is a true A3 printer as well as a unit that scans, copies and faxes, it prints A3 from within the outline of the machine yet is a good deal smaller than you would expect as paper is stored in landscape rather than portrait format.

It is 47x35x30cm only a tiny bit larger than most A4 units and remember this can store A3 paper within the unit, the secret is that the unit stores in Landscape format – don’t worry it still prints in portrait – with the page appearing sideways has...

Brother MFC-J5720DW review

The new Brother MFC-J5720DW multi function printer arrived here just in time for us to try something different: printing photos on canvas. Mind you this is not the only thing this multi-talented printer can do

All said in done (sorry, I didn't test its fax capabilities) this is a most capable printer for small offices/home offices.

This printer works well, and the touch-pad interface on the printer is clear and easy to use. But when I installed the printer, Brother added some malware to my computer that hi-jacks me to a site to order cartridges when I don't want to go there....
