Great printer

 

Once I found I could get a reusable roll insert, I only pay $9 a roll. Print quality is fine for mailing labels.

It could use a better label catcher when doing many labels at once.

Typical Brother

 

After returning this (sorry Newegg, I still love you) I found Samsung Bixolon SRP-770ii and couldn't be happier now.

Works with Mac.

Print quality is so-so, obnoxiously noisy when printing. Not compatible with any labels other than Brother DK at $38 per roll of 200.

Labels have pronounced curl, especially towards the end of the roll, but I suppose you can't get around that by using a larger core, and still have the printer itself stay so compact

We really loved this label printer, but be careful. It's only compatible with DK labels, which are 4 times more expensive than labels that other direct thermal printers use.

Highly recommend, shop around for label prices.

fast, easy to use, and sure beats feeding sheet labels through the laser printer. I use the continuous roll and cut the labels at 4" saving label material (and $) over the pre-cut labels.

oh brother!" LOL!-you have to use brother label rolls only! i would of never bought this printer if this was mentioned! i only used it a couple of months and now it does not work? i will go back to my zebra printer!
