The Canon Pixma MP160's everyday print jobs came out crisp, while scans are above-average but with limited resolution. The lack of a memory card slot could be an important omission.

Price, easy to print from the MP Navigator

Doesn't have a colour-LCD or memory card slot, some streaking when copying in mono

Good

A very good family printer, though cannot be used for fast many-paged printing. The photos printed are wonderful, and the printer comes with a free twenty pack of photo paper as well. Scanning and photocopying is both quite fast, though sometimes...

Extremely cheap, multifunction includes scanner and photocopier, good for family use, produces lovely photos.

To get whole new replaceable ink cartridges is expensive, more then two would be more expensive then the printer itself! Also, sometimes the pages printed out might be slanted, and prints out pages slowly.

Good

Overall this is one printer which I have purchased and have been fairly happy with it is great for home use and can print out very high quality photos.

The printer is very easy to use and the quality of the prints for photos is brilliant. Also the ability to photocopy and set the number of pages is great as well.

Expensive ink cartridges.

Canon, always good quality. A great 'All in one- Scan- Copy- Printer' for the price. Extremely easy and fast scanning compared to other All In Ones. And I choose Canon specifically for the best priced ink refills, usually the cheapest and most readily...

Easy to use, fast, reliable and good print quality. Ideal for Home PCs.

Excellent

The Canon Pixma MP160 is the perfect multifunction printer for my needs. As a frequent computer user I print a few pages on a regular basis as a part of my day-to-day usage. The Canon Pixma MP160 prints at photo quality and is inexpensive, both to...

High quality colour printout with reasonably priced replacement ink cartridges. Handy multifunction features.

A little slow in terms of PPM (Pages Per Minute) even for plain text.
