Canon Pixma MP460 review

Canon's Pixma MP460 is the 2006 version of the Pixma MP450 , but we didn't find many changes to the photo-centric all-in-one printer--even the $130 price is the same (please refer to the MP450 review for additional details). The body of the MP460 is...

Inexpensive; media card slots; PictBridge port; IrDA port; excellent print quality.

Color-handling problems in scans; limited paper-handling options.

The Canon Pixma MP460 is a minor update to the MP450. We still like its print quality but were disappointed by its scans. Still, it's one of our top choices for a photo-centric budget all-in-one.

Canon PIXMA MP460 review

It may be big and boxy, but it comes with a powerful spec

Easy installation ; Good print speed

Aesthetically uninspired ; Pause between pages ; High ink use

The cost of the ink offsets the low price of this printer, but if you don't want print off reams of pages it's still a bargain

Canon PIXMA MP460

The printer is very easy to set up and use. Overall it a good buy for the money, and gives good results, in addition to scanning.

Rather slow in getting itself together and deciding to print, after being asked!

Ease of use and price.

None yet, since I've only just started using it. How quickly the ink is used up and ease of replacement are things I'm watching out for.
