Canon MultiPass MP370, MultiPass MP730

The Canon MultiPass MP370 and MultiPass MP730 share similar installation routines, drivers, and utility software.

The combination of output quality and performance dramatically outclasses the other MFPs in this roundup. And it doesn't hurt that the MP730 offers the entire list of key MFP functions. Unless the $400 price tag is beyond your budget, this is most...

Service and support

Canon MultiPass MP730

Easy to use; good software bundle; includes automatic document feeder and flash-memory card readers.

Somewhat expensive; lacks features found on standalone fax and copy machines.

Canon's MultiPass MP730 works best for home office types who use digital cameras and have only light faxing needs.

Good

A great printer. This is my office printer and it does a great job. It gets a pretty good workout and seems to cope with everything very well. It is quite slow, but not significantly slower than other inkjets I've had. Cleaning and upkeep is easy, I've...

Cheap ink, quality scanner, quality printing, easy to clean/service

Slow, like all inkjets, and a bit bulky

Excellent

Need a second telephone line and I havnt figured out how to stop it making noise when you answer a incomming call. it wont turn off once it grabs the call and is simply too greedy and wants to talk to every thing.

Excellent

The MP730 is a great all round small/home office machine. It is reliable, economical and user friendly. The software makes it really straightforward to use and the quality is of a professional standard. Highly recommended.

Great quality printing/copying, easy to use software for scanning. Economical on ink, fast printing.

very bulky, not for small spaces, incoming faxes complicated to receive without a dedicated phoenline.
