The Canon Pixma MP760 Photo All-in-One takes slides and film in stride.

Canon Pixma MP760 review

The MP760 can turn out a borderless 6x4in photo in just 36 seconds and throws in a scanner and a film adaptor for good measure

Good

I have had this printer since early 2005 and only now (start of 2010) is it failing. It won't print colour properly anymore or do a proper self head cleaning. For basic home printing, doing your own photos, scanning etc it has been unbeatable.

I loved the fact that it comes with two extra attachments - One for scanning photo negatives in order to print the photos yourself, and the second attachment for printing CD and DVD faces.

It takes a while to react to a print job because it has to align all the print heads upon first switching it on.

Great colour, high resolution (for its time), borderless printing, film negative scanning, adjustable lid for scanning thick books, multi format memory card readers, copy and print functions that can be run from its own user panel (no need to start up...

Not a single dislike. If I had to build a printer, this would have been the way I would build it.
