Canon imageClass MF4150

The Canon imageClass MF4150 is surprisingly small for a monochrome laser AIO but packed with features, and its print speed and text quality are very good.

Fast print speed. Scans. Faxes. Copies. Automatic document feeder. Duplex (two-sided) printing.

Graphics and photo quality are typical for a monochrome laser, but a touch below the best available.

good printer, great service

Great product. I don't know that much about printers--just went on ratings and feedback. BUT, what I do know a lot about is SERVICE. I own a pharmacy and we DO SERVICE. NEWEGG knows service. I live in the middle of the state of Kansas, and order on...

Excellent except no scanner on Mac!

Agree with most other comments. Fast warmup, high quality, good value. Really like duplex printing feature ; Unlike other commenters here, I had little trouble printing envelopes (from Microsoft Word on a Mac) though curiously the envelope orientation...

Seriously disappointed that there's no scanner driver for Mac OSX. Surely Canon has someone who knows how to do this, or can hire someone that does

Factor in the price

Seriously... 20 pages/minute and duplex mode on a monochrome laser printer... You save money on paper... toner lasts longer then ink so you save money there... and this machine seems to do everything well. If you can't afford Xerox... then buy this......

This printer is a heavyweight at a nominal cost. Decent ink jets sell for about $50... with this functionality about $100. The difference is that for $189 you can actually have a machine that has enough memory and cycle speed to fake a functional...

I wish it had the LAN capability that my ink fax/print/scan machine has. That would be an exceptional bonus

Good Value

Did not realize Canon quality was available at this price. Very pleased with the unit.

Provided software works seemlessly with MS Word to print straight to fax - no paper to print or scan. Very strong, heavy, and durable compared to others. Very happy with the clean print quality. Tons of faxing feature options. Easy setup. Great price

Our unit has a tiny plastic shaving under the scan surface that had to have gotten there at the Chinese factory - no way to get it out

Great all in one for the price

Great Value for the money

I bought this primarily as a fax and backup printer. The fax is very fast. I like that it prints the first page of the fax with the confirmation ; My main pronter does not have the duplex feature so have used it as a printer also

Starter toner cartidge runs for very quickly

Must Have Laser All in One

This printer is everything a home or small office would want. The printing is fast, toner life very good. Scans can be made as PDFs, which is great for emailing documents. I tell everyone who will listen that this is best printer that I have had. It is...

It's not color! I think that envelopes and special paper printing could be improved. I have only tried to do this once

Canon must be anti-envelope activists

If Canon could/would ever work out the printing of anything other than meat and potato media sizes, it would be dandy. Hell, it's NOT a physical issue. What a shame.

Price for performance is typical for Canon

Canon seems to have a huge issue with envelope printing on many of their MFC devices. Very few can just handle it as a "click in driver or print options and go", requiring either a series of convoluted programming of dimensions on the printer itself or...

Awesome Machine!

This machine is awesome for what you get and a great price! The new model is a bit better in that you can email from that machine - but this one is still awesome! I've done computer support for 8 years and this machine is a great little printer!

This machine is a work horse! The software is great and it DUPLEXES

Envelope printing is a trick - I don't print enveplopes much so it's not a big deal

Further update...

Further to my comments below...I can print all the envelopes I want on my Canon iP6600 with no problems at all, using the same MS Word program!! Obviously the problem is in the MF4150 unit.
