Canon PIXMA MG3250

Canon's PIXMA MG3250 is a revamp to its low-end all-in-one, but is it any better?

Relatively inexpensive to run, Easy-fit cartridges, Straightforward controls

Big footprint when open, Pauses during colour print, Errors in manual

Canon Pixma MG3250 review

It's not the fastest printer around, but Canon's new MG3250 is an affordable and versatile inkjet printer for home users.

The speed and running costs of the MG3250 mean that it’s not the best choice for frequent, everday use. However, its duplex option and helpful software will appeal to home workers or students who occasionally need to produce longer, high-quality...

Canon Pixma MG3250

While most will use this sitting on a table or desk, it can work from a wide shelf or even on the floor behind a sofa if the lounge police dislike the black colour. It can be connected via USB or by wireless meaning it need not be in sight.

It is 42x30x15cm, add around 5cm to raise the lid on the flatbed to insert pages. You will need around 20cm extra to the second figure the depth to allow A4 paper to emerge from the output tray, so 42x50x20cm is total space in use. Both USB and the...

Wireless Problems

I bought this wireless printer to replace a older Cannon that had to be plugged into my laptop. It is great at scanning old photographs into my laptop and great printing until I changed from BT to Virgin. My daughter came up to help me and could not...

Does what it says on the tin!

I think this is a brilliant inkjet printer for everyday private use. It's quiet, easy to use, seems very economical re. inkjet use -- I bought it in February 2014 and have only just changed the mini-cartridges that came with it. Very good value for...

Does the business

  (Rating Hidden)

I've always resisted Canon printers which have the print head as part of the printer and use multiple colour cartridges for the simple reason that they use more (expensive) ink cleaning the print heads to avoid them gumming up than you ever use in...

Inexpensive and simple to set up and use

Black and white texts quality is good. Scanning and subsequent storage to windows 8.1 photos is auto, but a lot of 40 scanned were too light requiring editing before uploading/posting. Still haven't sorted the wifi but that may be me ! recommended

An inexpensive upgrade

  (Rating Hidden)

The MG3250 replaced a Canon Pixma 620 which I had for 6 years - a marvellous machine. I would have liked the 3250 to have separate colour ink cartridges. It is a very efficient printer and quick scanner, easy to set up and light in weight. I don't use...
