Canon Pixma MP150

The Canon Pixma MP150 does photos well—and it can copy and scan too when the occasion comes up.

Prints directly from cameras. Reasonably high-quality output. Prints, copies, and scans.

No automatic document feeder. No fax features. Needs manual alignment after every cartridge change.

Canon Pixma MP150

Canon's entry-level all-in-one device brings copying, scanning and printing functions to the home and student user.

Affordable ; PictBridge ready

No memory card inputs ; Expensive ink cartridges

Outlook: The Pixma MP150 is a good, basic-level all-in-one printer, copier and scanner at an extremely affordable price.

Canon MP150

With a budget price and a generous software bundle, how does this offering from Canon perform?

Cheap, easy to use, no frills, good software bundle, reasonably fast and high-quality gloss photo printing, effective scanning for the price

No memory card slots, no LCD panel so no photo preview for PictBridge printing, two-cartridge system means colour inks will be wasted

Overall, the low price makes it attractive for occasional use on a budget. It's debatable how many users find it easier to print from memory cards directly than after some correction on a Mac. If you're sure you're one of the former, this printer won't...

Canon - PIXMA MP150

Canon's latest multi-function printer is the PIXMA MP150, a direct replacement for the popular MP110, featuring 4,800 x 1,200dpi performance, the latest FINE (Full-photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering) print heads and a full colour 1,200 x...

This is an exceptionally low cost multifunction printer that offers reasonable all round performance with the added bonus of being able to print borderless A4-sized prints, but the lack of a card reader is a drawback.

Canon Pixma MP150

Appearance and build quality belie its low price but features are lacking.....

Compact, refined, well built, cheap

Brownish weak blacks, combo ink cartridges

No slots, an LCD screen or other luxuries, plus disappointing photo print quality, it's hard to recommend the MP150

Very good example of an all-in-one - but not quite perfect

In your home office or study, you can have a printer. And a scanner. And a photocopier. And even one of the new photo-printers. Or you can have an all-in-one Printer, Scanner, Copier ('PSC') like the Canon MP150. The concept is by no means a new one. ...

Very good all-rounder - and very cheap

Quirky paper selection process. Print quality good, but not great
