Canon Pixma MP170 - Inkjet Printer

Simon Williams looks at another impressive multi-function device from Canon.

From our tests and simply by using this multifunction machine, it seems to represent exceptional value. Providing a very good feature set, including the ability to print images from memory cards and cameras, and producing high-quality results, all for...

Canon Pixma MP170

The MP170 takes the feature set of the entry-level MP150 and adds direct printing capabilities from memory cards.

Practically Free

I went to Best Buy the other day, cornered and desperate for a drive to fix a computer most ASAPidly. After I was done paying through the nose for it, I though, thank your non-denominational celestial being for newegg. I don't know what took me so long...

Beside that fact that i now have a copier/scanner/printer that with great colors and a cornucopia of printing options, i also have a bouquet of useful software. The digital conversion software that came with this printer is worth as much as i paid for...

NONE, i should have paid twice as much for this then i did, since i did not, i got a new video card too with the left over money

Does it all for very little

Searching for a new computer I noticed this easy to use 3-in-1 printer at a very affordable price. Because of that, I easily bundled it up with my order and have been enjoying it ever since. Simple base design, easy to load paper shoot in the rear,...

Quick and bright prints, ease of use

Takes a little time after turning it on to "warm" up

Canon Pixma MP170

I've just put in a new canon 40 ink cartridge and the printer keeps telling me to check the ink and it won't print. I haven't used it that much.

Fine while it worked

Didn't work for long enough. Ink expensive

Canon Pixma MP170

Set up went very easily, networking 2 hardwired computers and a wireless laptop. Have had no problems in 2 months. The photocopy feature works extremely well.

There are not alternate ink sources, only Canon's is available so must pay their price. Is rather slow to start on initial turn-on
