Dell 3110cn review

The Dell 3110cn is a midpriced, middle-performing color laser printer for small or home offices. For $500, you get a fairly basic feature set; add-ons, such as a duplexer, will jack up the price. For that money, we far prefer the Lexmark C530dn , which...

Lightning-fast mono prints; low per-page costs; built-in networking; 24/7 tech support.

Print quality needs to be improved across the board; duplex costs extra; slow color prints.

The Dell 3110cn is a decent color laser that should satisfy casual home office users, but we think the Lexmark C530dn is an overall better product.

Dell 3110CN Printer

The Dell Laser Printer 3110cn may have the same black-and-silver styling as the 3100cn model it will replace, but under the skin, it's a very different beast. Yes, it carries the same $500 price tag (as of 10/6/2006), it continues support for both PCL...

Low price, $199 duplexer option ; Economical to run

Slow color printing ; Ugly manual tray design

The 3110cn also continues Dell's tradition of reasonable toner costs. The printer comes with standard-capacity cartridges rated for 5000 monochrome pages and 4000 color pages. Dell rates all four of its high-capacity replacement cartridges at 8000...

Dell 3110cn

Recent months have seen printer makers bring out ever-cheaper colour lasers aimed at the home/small-office market, but there's still an important role...

Very low running costs, very expandable

A little expensive outright, not the greatest hardware resolution

The Dell isn't cheap, but its running costs are among the lowest available. Add strong output, some heavyweight specifications (with options that'll beef it up considerably) and network support as standard, and you have an excellent colour laser that...

Dell 3110cn, the 100,000 copy disposable printer

We've put 82,000 copies on this printer over the last 14 months. So far it's worked very well. The pros: - Print quality is consistently good. I haven't tested color accuracy, but the prints are clean. - Reliable paper feeding. Few if any misfeeds. ...

Fast first copy speed, very reasonable purchase price

Some consumables are harder to buy than they need to be.

Keep looking...

This printer looked like it would be a great fix for our continual outsourcing of print material - and all of the costs that entails. And for a while, it performed up to standard. But, after three months, this behemoth of a machine began having problem...

It is a great table weight. It keeps dust from getting on the table

You can't actually print with it (at least not good looking, complete print jobs)

Crisp type, decent photos, low price!

We bought this printer for our office as it has a duty cycle of about 30,000 pages per month. The printer itself is quite large (taller than wide) & is not super quiet. The things I love: clear, crisp black type, reminders of the toner level & it ...

Crisp type, decent graphics, very speedy

A tad noisy

I'm in love.

Let's start off by saying this printer is HOT. I told a co-worker that if the 3110cn were a girl, I'd ask it out. She says, "It can be a girl. Call her Della." I discovered that Della is a very hungry little girl and uses plenty of power. When I ...

Awesome quality.-Fast.-Low initial cost and low cost per page.-Looks hot

High power drain.-It's a Dell
