Dell Photo Printer 540

 

The Dell Photo Printer 540 prints 4-by-6s in just over a minute with good, but not great, picture quality.

Prints from PictBridge cameras and memory cards, as well as from a computer. Built-in color LCD for previewing pictures. Easy to set up.

Cost per 4-by-6 (39 cents and up) is expensive compared with digital prints at typical photo-developing shops or drugstores. Image quality is a touch below par.

Economical; solid print quality; easy to operate; large color LCD.

Big footprint; AC-only operation; limited editing options; not Macintosh compatible.

Economical operation and high-quality prints are this printer's forte, but look elsewhere if you own a Mac.
