Dymo LabelWriter 450

Best described as a basic label printer, the Dymo LabelWriter 450 is all that most small offices need.

Comes with excellent label-printing program plus driver and add-ins for Word and Excel. Can be upgraded to print postage.

Word add-in doesn't integrate smoothly with Microsoft Word.

Ultimately, the Dymo LabelWriter 450 doesn't offer anything to make it stand out from the competition. It's not hard to find faster label printers, like the Brother QL-700, or printers with more capability, like the LabelWriter 450 Twin Turbo, with its...

Dymo LabelWriter 450 Duo

The Dymo LabelWriter 450 Duo combines two entirely different kinds of label printers in one case.

Comes with excellent label-printing program plus driver and add-ins for Word and Excel. Prints on both paper and plastic labels.

Word add-in doesn't integrate smoothly with Word.

If you don't need to print both paper and plastic labels, there's little reason to get this printer. If you need to print both, however, it offers a lot to like. It will save you both money and desk space over buying two separate printers with the same...

DYMO LabelWriter 450 Twin Turbo

The DYMO software is among the more capable and easier to use label printing utilities that I've seen. Among other features, it lets you insert an automatic date and time stamp and any of nearly 20 bar codes, including Postnet for mailing labels. The...

Holds two label rolls for easy switching between label types or sizes. Fast

Twice the footprint of typical label printers that hold only one roll

Effectively two label printers in one, the DYMO LabelWriter 450 Twin Turbo can hold rolls of, say, address and stamp labels, so you can easily print on either one.

Gadgetell Review: DYMO LabelWriter 450 Twin Turbo

The DYMO LabelWriter 450 Twin Turbo is a double spool label printer for Macs and PCs that utilizes thermal printing technology. It can be print a variety of label types, including address, shipping, and postage. The included labelmaker software, DYMO...

The printer is really fun to use - you will start actively looking for stuff to label and mail. The print quality is very good, the software easy to use, and the print speed is zippy. It is definitely a useful tool for those who like to drop-off...

Review: Dymo LabelWriter 450 Turbo

Label makers are a dime a dozen nowadays, so why would I bother reviewing one? Because the 450 Turbo from Dymo is fast. How fast? Just watch the video. Aside from its blazing speeds, the 450 Turbo is easy to use and setup. The bundled software works...

Dymo LabelWriter 450 Turbo

The Dymo LabelWriter 450 Turbo delivers fast speed for printing on a variety of labels, including postage labels by way of the Endicia Web site.

The 450 Turbo is notably faster than the Dymo 450, particularly when printing multiple labels, as with a mailing list. I timed individual mailing labels at about 2.4 seconds each, compared with 3 seconds for the Dymo 450, and I timed a 50-label print...

A Specialised Printer : Dymo LabelWriter 450

I have been a regular user of a Dymo labelling device for many years. While fine for simple tasks, this device was unsuitable for more complicated labels. Fortunately Dymo manufacture a product that is capable of carrying out this type of task.

There is support for different types of labels including address, shipping, name badge and multipurpose with each category containing a number of layouts. You can either click on the label in the right pane or the layout option in the right panel to...

Fast, Efficient, and Versatile

I wasn't sure what I would do with this when I got it, as the staff at work use them only for address labels. Since moving and reorganizing, I find that I use it daily, many times. I print labels for storage boxes of all sizes. I print labels for...

Compact, very fast, USB connectivity, ink dries quickly, automatic font scaling, can print postage, stores previous labels.

None.
