GOOD PRINTER

  (Rating Hidden)

Got fed up with Ink Jets that kept drying up and drinking expensive ink,as i am a occasional user. Got this printer. Prints well, am well pleased. Looked at toner costs, not too bad. Don,t print photos, but maps charts etc - good.Would recommend it....

Fast printing and very good quality images

No Ethernet connection on this printer. It needs a bi-directional print server to be able to network this printer.

Confusing when first started up.....should direct customer to the on-line guide before the quick start. Initially it seemed to require about 30 sheets of paper before 'paper empty' light would go out.

Good value and economical, particularly for low volume use. Just need to replace toners no drum replacements required. Quality of prints is fantastic, colours are vibrant. Fairly compact size.

Genuine toners are expensive around £50 (but then most other companies are the same in their pricing). Slow first print from idle , around 15-20 secs.

Remarkable value for money and excellent print quality

Don't buy this if you print large graphics. It doesn't have enough memory and can't be upgraded

Fast and not much noise, good footprint

The only bad thing is the toner for the printer, if you need to buy 4, it will cost more than the printer, even buying 1 costs around £50 but saying that I would still recommend the printer as it is far better than an ink jet
