Epson Stylus CX5900

 

The Epson Stylus CX5900 is well worth a look for those on a tight budget.

Good colour and sharp borders ; Brilliant pictures on plain paper ; Easy to use

Slow to print ; Prints a bit dull and grainy ; Trouble with complex edges

The standard one year warranty can be extended to three years if desired.

Do not buy this POS printer. Printing away, get error E-04. Paper jam? Ok, check printer, no paper. Interesting. Try again, error E-04. And that's all she wrote. Been tring for 2 days to get it to work, and nothing.

Quality print

Too bad it only prints for a year before collapsing in a heap

Great Printer Speed, cheap ink tanks. great scanner. Very reliable unit has never skipped a beat. Glad it has card slots to transfer data. Amazing colour printing using heavy weight matte stock, astounding in fact.

Cheap to buy, cheap ink tank replacements. 4 colour is cheaper to run than 6 colour printer. I don't try to print everything i possibly can, I'm selective and the tanks last me about 6 months at a a time

Great printer, very fast & quiet, scanner is fast and acurate colours, photocopy mode is also great. I like the LCD screen, Ink costs are great, cheaper than Canon or HP, works very well with a Mac

Quality of print is good, but very expensive to run. Ink runs out pretty fast.

Printer and scanner in one, and prints OK

Expensive to run as even if one of the cartridges runs out of ink, you can't print unless you replace the cartridge
