Epson Stylus CX6600 Printer

Like many of Epson's printers and MFPs, the $200 CX6600 is focused on photography. It includes media card slots for printing photos without going through a PC, and it bundles a photo-oriented software package, including Arcsoft Photo Impression 5.

We were impressed with the sleek looks of the CX6600's rounded case. The front panel is nicely laid out, with copy and scan buttons, as well as a button for printing straight from the media card reader. One design element is just a bit too cute,...

High scan quality, but middling print quality overall. Slow to scan, though copy speeds are above average.

Epson Stylus CX6600 review

Intro Editors' note: The Editors' Choice designation for this product has been removed simply to reflect the general improvement of technology over time.

User-friendly design; superb scanning; extensive memory card slots; standalone copying and memory card printing; cheap ink; Windows and Mac compatible.

No cables included; live telephone tech support costs extra and there's no weekend support; plain paper sometimes loads incorrectly.

This upgrade of the popular CX6400 pledges more of a good thing: a low-cost, semi-standalone, multitasking, photo-loving all-in-one.

Epson Stylus CX6600

At 12 by 17.8 by 23 inches (HWD), the CX6600 is relatively large for an ink-jet-based unit. Even so, it can fit comfortably on your desk, so you can easily reach the front-panel controls. Inside, it uses Epson's DuraBrite inks, with separate cartridges...

Quality is good for graphics, very good for text and photos. Prints photos directly from memory cards. Works as a scanner, printer, and color copier

No ADF. No fax features

The Epson Stylus CX6600 lacks an ADF and fax features, but works as a scanner, printer, and standalone copier, and can print photos without a computer. It also offers reasonable performance, particularly for business applications, very good text and...

Epson - CX6600

Epson seems to have taken a leaf out of Brother's book by hiding the USB cable inside the CX6600, or possibly Brother borrowed the idea from Epson. Either way we like anything that tidies up a ...

Usually my printers last about a year. Ive only had this one for 2 months but I don't see it breaking down. Its very hardy and solid and has served very well. With the exception of occasional paper jams, its been excellent. Photocopies, prints in...

EPSON Stylus CX6600 22 ppm 5760 x 1440 dpi InkJet MFC / All-In-One Color Printer

This is a fine printer, prints picture quality very well, i'll never buy a lexmark again. it also has OCR capability that far surpasses anything I've owned to date, scanning is a breeze, plug and play easy.

Great Printer!!!

The only reason that I am giving this a 4 insted of a 5 is that I had to go out and buy a USB cable to use the printer. This would not have been a big deal except that it was a suprise. (nudge nugde...Disclose this info) The printer is wonderful and...
