No cartridges are required for this refillable EcoTank MFP

Claimed up to 70% more prints than cartridges ; High yields of 11,000 pages possible ; Duplex double-sided printing ; Clearly visible ink levels

Bulky – especially with overhanging ink-tanks ; Our sample was prone to paper jams ; Does not fold flat ; Difficult to enter text via crude interface

There’s a compelling financial case for refillable ink tanks, but this MFP comes with downsides in terms of a bulky form-factor, and somewhat compromised print quality. There are also question marks over reliability here.

Stupendously low running costs can't be sniffed at, but it's still too expensive and overall performance is poor

Exceptionally low running costs; No fiddly cartridges to replace;

Slow print speeds; Not designed for heavy workloads; Text appears scruffy and poorly-printed in standard mode;

It's cheap to run, but the absurdly high price, poor performance and lacklustre feature-set make this something of a false economy.

New Set up - Easy
