Decent print quality

Lack of media card slots

The HP Deskjet 5740 won't win any awards for speed or economy, but for all-around print quality, it's a good little performer.

I bought this printer about four years ago. HP is a reliable brand name, and I've had nothing but mostly good experiences with their printers. As a rule, an HP printer is a work horse. That is why I purchased this HP Deskjet 5740 ...

prints beautifully, great color photos, flat paper tray, quiet compared to some other printers

Not just for photos...the 5740 does it all!

Inexpensive to purchase, high quality, great performance for many different applications.
