Cheap junk

 

This thing is unbelievably cheap. Expected to replace it when the ink runs out. I got about a year out of it (maybe a hundred pages), before it refused to pick up paper from the input tray. Buy a Canon or an Epson as HP's quality has gone in the toilet...

DO NOT BUY

 

I live in Slippery Rock PA, and the closest store that would sell anything of the like is over 7 miles away. I have no car so I can't go pick one up. Had the specifications noted that it did not come with a USB cable, I would've gone with one that did....

I use Windows 7 (64bit) and this may be a driver issue, but it is as of yet unresolved.

Small, cheap, aesthetically pleasing

Not worth the plastic it's made of. It will barely print. Trust me, I am not a novice. Do a search for "d1660 stops printing" and you'll see. It rarely finishes printing a page. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, used diag software, and searched forums....

Cheap, no frills printer

 

Any review of this product has to start with the price: 29 bucks. You can't expect very much for that low price. For the money you get a USB printer that is quick, has good print quality for documents (didn't try photos yet), and takes very little desk...

Low price ; Fast ; small ; light weight

Bare minimum hardware features for a printer ; Ink cost ; HP printer bloatware ; Poor 64-bit support ; So light that cartridges zipping back and forth are likely to make it dance across your desk

Great Printer!

 

Despite not coming with a cable, it is still an amazing deal even after adding the cable price. Perfect for a college student such as myself!

It works! Looks good, easy setup, and has a really good price

Sharing sucks on this printer

 

Don't buy this. Not worth the money!

Does print...sometimes. I think this works fine just with one computer on a USB connection. Although, I did get "unrecognized USB device" message a few times

This thing sucks when you try to use it through sharing in Windows 7

Great for the Money

 

Easy set up, others have stated make sure you have a USB to connect printer to computer it does not come with one, I used my old printer's cable.

Great little printer for the price, fits the need I had for a simple home printer
