I started by printing some DVD case inserts. I got thru amout 12 and the ink was low,after a couple more it was terrible. The Black cartridge seems to about twice as long when color printing. Very cheap to buy,but ink is very,very expensive. My old...

If I had the money ... I'd spring for color laser.

Very Inexpensive ; Relative Quick ; Small footprint ; Good color rendition for such a very inexpensive printer

Cheap construction ; Poor paper path - paper comes out right on top of where it comes in ; You can tell from the sound of it that its not going to last very long ... like all of the bargain basement inkjets

Nice Little Printer

 

Great printer for the price, I give it a 5 for being a great value. Even the print cartridges are around $15 each.

I bought this printer so I can have color prints when needed. I own a monochrome laser printer for most everyday printing; it is the best cost per print. Occasionally I want to print something in color, and this gets the job done. This little printer...

Perfect little budget printer

 

I just needed a home printer to print out receipts, shipping information, letters, etc. It's more than adequate for my needs. An inexpensive, compact printer like this would probably be great for dorm rooms, but it works just fine on my computer desk...

Quieter than I expected ; Compact ; Easy to install ; Prints nice and clean ; Inexpensive

None that I've found yet. Detailed prints come out a little soggy, but that's to be expected using cheap paper

My Lexmark is going up for sale as Lexmark seems to have NO desire to support any version of Linux. HP is actually the one who maintains the driver on sourceforge.net that allows this printer to work with Linux. The ink cartridges are priced lower than...

Works perfect in Xubuntu Linux! This printer is about 30 percent faster at printing than the Lexmark it replaced. Excellent quality print even on the cheap copy paper I'm using

The driver likes to use the color cartridge to print black text as the default. If I remember to tell it to use the black cartridge every time, it's not a huge deal
