HP Deskjet D4360 Colour Inkjet Printer

The Deskjet D4360 justifies its asking price nicely. At the same time, you do get exactly what you pay for.

Inexpensive to buy ; Small desktop footprint ; Fast ; Good quality basic text ; Decent image quality

Photo quality could be better ; It isn't an MFD ; Large amount of crapware ; Shaking and noise problem

Part of the vibration comes from the speed with which the D4360 is able to throw pages around, however, and in this respect the printer comes highly recommended in the budget space. Naturally, we didn't expect to see HP's claimed page figures, but were...

Excellent Printer !!

I'm not sure why people are giving this product less eggs because it doesn't come with a usb drive.. I'm seriously facepalming because since when did a printer come with a usb cable? Oh that's right NEVER.. people complain about something that has been...

Easy Interface and Simple Installation

The starter cartridges you receive just like every other product you buy now a days is only full to about 20%. This is done purposely by the manufacturer so you have to buy more ink cartridges. Remember people - there are VERY slim profit margins on...

um.. where's the usb?

Who sells 80% of a product? That usb is crucial to getting the printer to connect with the computer, DUH!

It was a good price for the egg buster deal

Didn't come with a usb to connect to the computer!! I had to drive to the store and pay $11.99 for a usb

HP Deskjet D4360 CB700A Up to 30 ppm 4800 x 1200 dpi Thermal Inkjet Photo Color Printer - Retail

Overall it does the basics. But if you're going to be printing a lot of pictures go with a different printer. It's more of a headache to get a decent print than it's worth. You get what you pay for.

Plug in and go

Printing pictures was a bit of a pain. Figuring out which setting worked best with which software - headache. And the ink. If you're low on one cartridge don't expect to get a good picture

Very Nice ~

We had three separate packages coming from Newegg on this purchase (ten items) and, as usual, three days from ordering to arrival. There are very few things you can rely on, but Newegg delivery is positive and UPS cannot be overlooked. A winning...

Far better appearing than I imagined, the fold up tray is great and doesn't bend the paper in the tray. Started without any problems. The ink cartridge install is one of the easiest and best I have seen in years. Done in less time than it took to open...

Not really cons, however, a few things to watch. The software is bloated, so I loaded just the drivers. Very easy to do by using the advanced user settings along the way ; The printer does not come with a data cable (USB) so be sure you have one, or...

Good cheap printer

default driver installation includes a bunch of bloatware. Might be advisable to select "custom" installation unless you really want all that stuff on your machine (albums, photo-editing, etc.)

Price, footprint. Uses the same cartridges as our more expensive all-in-one j6400 series hp

tedious cartridge alignment process (print the page and then tell it 10 times which set of lines are best). Same drill as in the olden days

ze printer

Buy extra ink for this printer unless you don't plan on printing more than a few dozen full color pages in the next year or so.

Impressive printing quality for the price. HP brand name. Very user friendly CD-based setup and install. Front trays fold up nicely (even with paper in them) so you don't whack em accidentally

Used up about 5% of the black ink just calibrating the print heads and doing a quick cleaning. Tis the nature of inkjets

Cheap inkjets have come a long way.

I gave up on inkjets years ago frustrated with dependability and quality. From the old Apple (Canon) printers of the early 90s to the tinker toy, everjam Dells (Lexmark) of today, this printer has professional quality output and I expect it to last for...

Cheaper than snot. Borderless 8.5x11 printing. Superb photo output on high quality setting and photo paper. Antialiased "smooth images" output make even mediocre resolution images look great. Hasn't lost alignment during the first month like most...

Ink is always the hitch. Just once I'd like to see an easily refillable cartridge system. Printing 8.5x11 dark photos at high quality can easily drain a color ink cartridge in 30 pages. HP has to make money. I guess I can't blame them ; Stiff photo...
