HP LaserJet 1320 review

Intro There's a reason Hewlett-Packard dominates the market for business-class laser printers. The company knows what business users want: solid performance, no-fuss design, good manageability, and solid tech support. The HP LaserJet 1320, a compact...

Built-in duplexer; great print quality; swift speeds; quiet operation; compact form; Windows and Mac compatible.

Networking and additional paper tray cost extra.

A great little monochrome laser printer, it offers fine output, duplexing, and a tight footprint that lets it fit right into any business, school, or home office.

HP LaserJet 1320n Q5928A Personal Up to 22 ppm Monochrome Laser Printer

One of the best laserjet printer HP has ever made, excellent speed, with network capabilities. One of the best features of the printer is its compact size, you can fit it anywhere

Awesome Printer

Nice size, foot print.

Excellent printer for the price. INstead of purchasing the higher end printer with the NIC, I purchased an inexpensive print server. WORKS GREAT and FAST

Having a difficult time printing envelopes

HP 1320N

Seriously, most toner refillers charge a set fee no matter how big the toner cartridge is. Might vary by a few bucks, but generally in the 80 to 100 buck range. A 4100 High yield shoots you 14k pages, the 1320 shoots you a "real" max of around 5k for...

Small footprint, light great for single person who does NOT print very much. The print config button is hidden (no LCD for menu) on the back next to the NIC, not menu driven to find IP address. This was a CON for users who needed the IP address fast...

VERY EXPENSIVE TO USE! Honestly, if you're networking this thing, you're porting more than a single user to it. You'd be money ahead to get a year old NIB 4100 or 4200 series printer. TONER COSTS VERY HIGH! My USAF Unit bought 6 of these and we have...

Good printer

Only load the panel if you need it, otherwise it loads java on startup and chews up 40MB of ram.

Good overall printer. Fast. Ethernet just works

If you enable double-sided printing, yet only print one page-worth of text, it will still pull it back in to "print" the back. It's kind of loud when cooling down from printing. Also, if you load their software, it loads about 40MB of stuff into ram,...

Fine printer

Excellent printer with very easy networking. I have networked this through a hub to both a Mac (using OS X) and two PCs (using XP Pro); and then converted to wireless printing by running the ethernet cable from the printer to my wireless router. Works...

Fast, cheap, great text--best of any small laser printer

Half-tone graphics are so-so; envelope slot has small capacity

Great Little Printer

Great little printer. It is very fast and high quality output. I was very easy to install especially on the Mac OS X platform. While running Tiger 10.4.3 all that I had to do to install it was open the add printer using Bonjour and it was installed in...

Can't think of a single thing wrong with this printer. I just love the quality and speed

Still like 'em!

I have 5 of these in my office. I love 'em. It is true that you will spend a ton of $$ if you buy HP branded cartridges. When using 3rd party ink you will get "cartridge memory" notifications. You can turn off notifications or simply ignore it. I had...

Easy Network setup, 3rd party cartridges aplenty (abcink),duplexing works great, etc

Always "search for available printers/auto ip" when setting up/adding new printers or workstations. Even if you already know the printers ip address. I would "lose" the printer on next restart or power outage if I setup ip manually

Excellent light-duty networked printer

Excellent choice for a light-duty printer. I would not recommend it for heavy duty high-volume use, those using it like that and criticizing it for coming up short should not have selected this printer. The manual-feed setup is not important to me....

Small, quiet after warmup, excellent print quality, good price for a network-ready duplexing printer

None in my application
