Prints slowly

The 2605dtn prints a little slowly, but the quality is excellent and we like its features. It's also very easy to maintain, so if you're looking for a decent colour laser for the office, this one is well worth checking out.

The way the HP performs, and its specification and design really justify the price

The HP Color LaserJet 2605dtn shows excellent color and monochrome print quality, has a built-in photo card reader and duplexer, and is reasonably priced.

The menu system is difficult to navigate, paper input is limited to 500 sheets, and software could be more small-office friendly.

The HP 2605dtn has some flaws, but it prints color cheaply and well enough for small offices, individuals, and small corporate workgroups.

But in our speed tests, the HP showed its age. It was dead last in our 50-page mono test, taking a hefty 4mins 22secs to finish, and adding colour slowed it further to over five minutes. The good news is that we found double-sided printing added only a...
