Terrible doc feeder and software

 

All in ones are good spacesavers, and it is good to be able to save directly to a network.

The document feeder is junk - maybe it's just my machine is a lemon - the thing almost always screws up a regular 25-page input.

Xtremely pleased

 

First, I was able to acquire a high-end all-in-one for my personal home office for $320 after HP 50% rebate and Newegg discounts.

Best Bang for the buck

 

The main advantages this has over other models is the two sided printing.

HP really has to get a new philosphy on their printer driver development, they have you load a F(*&ing operating system just to print.

With the current $xxx rebate, this is a terrific deal. Scans and copies of legal-size documents must be made using the automatic document feeder, which works well but produces output that's a bit less crisp than from the flatbed (but still very good)....

Had this shipped 3 day, Newegg and UPS had it here in two, truly awesome service. This is why I go nowhere else for PC gear.

Network setup on 4 XP machines was simple. Print times are awesome, even when printing a duplex job, it was in the tray by the time I got out of my chair. Scanner works fine, setting the "Scan To" function was simple. The price with rebate could not be...
