HP Officejet 5610 All-in-One review

HP OfficeJet 5610 The HP OfficeJet 5610 multifunction fits the bill for a home office, although you'll have to compromise on performance and convenience. This $150, do-everything device can scan, copy, print photos and other documents, and send and...

The HP 5610 is inexpensive and small, and it prints well.

The HP 5610 uses expensive ink; has poor scan quality; prints slowly; has no PictBridge port or memory-card readers.

The HP OfficeJet 5610 is affordable and provides most of the home-office basics, but it doesn't stand out from the crowd of better-equipped multifunctions.

HP Officejet 5610 All-in-One USB Printer

While the Officejet 5610 may not be up to the task of fulfilling the needs of a full blown office, for home, small office, or perhaps dorm use it certainly up to the task. It provides above average performance in all tasks it is capable of, and the...

Multi-function, 4 machines in 1, » Useful software, » Name brand quality with a bargain price

Software update took over system, » Ink costs are a little on the high side

HP Officejet 5610 MFU

As a MFU it not only prints, scans, copies but also for those who still require it can send and receive faxes. The latter is the difference between an MFU and a All In One.

It is 44x42x24cm and weights only around 6kilos. The name sort of gives it away as an office product but that normally means expensive but you should be able to find it for less than three figures as the HP guide is £99 including VAT. It has both...

HP Officejet 5610

This is a Multi Function Machine – as opposed to an All In One – simply as it also has a fax built in, so it's a printer, scanner, copier and fax in a single unit.

To do a full software installation for the takes 850MB of hard disc space it is possible to do a lesser install taking 400MB. I found the full install took around 20 minutes. HP Officejet 5610 The unit is somewhat bigger than some other similar...

Updated Review

Have sold 7 or 8 of these now, lost count. Actually had my FIRST bad one this week, the scanner wasn't turning on its light. NewEgg was ABSOLUTELY fabulous. They replaced the printer with free next day shipping (I requested it), and what really floored...

Excellent printer for the price range with its features. Does all the basics, can be set to conserve ink, and most simply it just works! Have sold many of these and they are rock solid! All of my customers have been very pleased with these units

Ink tanks are not big, and it doesn't hold more than about 40-50 sheets of normal paper, but then it isn't made to be a heavy printer either

HP Printers

Cannot beat it for the price.

Pros are it is an HP I have always liked HP products because of how well they worked for me. I have no problems with this it works and prints real good

It don't print real fast but normal, you cannot put to much paper in the paper tray or it cannot pick it up. For the price it is real good I think

Excellent

Nice to see things that work well with Linux.

This printer works great. I use Linux, and thanks to the HPLIP drivers, the printer and scanner install very easily. I have not used the fax yet so I can't say on that. But I would highly recommend this product

The hinges on the scanner are some what cheap, or rather just not quite heavy enough. This has caused me no trouble, it is just something I worry about breaking. Still an excellent printer for the money

Awesome

Absolutely worth the purchase. Photo-quality printing, good scan quality, and copies and handles faxes with ease.

Wonderful printer. I bought its predecessor, the 5510, for my mother two years ago, and it's worked well. I bought one of the 5610 for myself a year ago, and it's still going strong. I bought another one for my employers three months ago and it's...

For the price, absolutely none. It would be nice if it had wireless, but for $100 that's seriously not a con
