HP Photosmart 8150 Photo Printer

Even a quick glance at the 8150 suggests that it's not a typical ink jet. The 2.5-inch LCD on the front panel is complemented by about a dozen buttons and knobs, along with slots for six memory-card formats. There's also a USB port for a PictBridge...

Good glossy print quality, useful included software

High running costs, poor plain paper print quality

Because of its extensive features, the Photosmart 8150 would make a nice centre for the amateur digital photographer, but printing costs are high.

This is an awesome printer. The quality with the basic color print cartridge is better than processed photos. Works well with Windows XP and my Suse 9.2 system was even easier to configure (as HP8100 printer).

Hewlett-Packard Photosmart 8150

Just a great photo printer. When I bought my first digital camera the next step was to get a printer so I didn't have to run to Walgreens for photos. Walked into CompUSA one day and saw their sale on this printer with a price of $99 with mail in...

Don't need the pc for anything. Plug in your card and you can do almost all the editing you would want on the printer and see it on the display.

If you use this for any kids school work to print any reports or letters it is best to put in a black ink cartridge for blacker print out. Other than that, it's great.

Excellent quality prints once you get it set up and tweaked in.

HP software is a joke. Photoshop plugin just opens the supplied HP software. The HP software is a pain, extremely clunky and made for a PC, you can tell a huge difference between a piece of equipment engineered for a Mac and one for a PC. A Porsche vs...
