HP Has Gone Downhill

This is the last HP I will ever buy for my company. HP was THE printer people for as long as I can recall, but now they're just running on a reputation. A reputation that's getting quickly tarnished.

Prints on larger paper than most. Fairly quick printing ; NewEgg's customer service is the best in the business, as it has always been

Note: It does 11 x 17 printing nicely

In my testing, this printer handles 11 x 17 printing, at all resolutions, without problems. I don't know what the previous reviewer's issue was

Yeah, it has only 2 ink cartridges, instead of a bunch of individual color cartridges, so if you are doing a lot of printing, it could get costly. I have not investigated refills and such

Doesn't work on 11x17 paper

HP's support was abominable. They were guessing at driver solutions and even claimed the printer wasn't supposed to print on 11x17 paper.

none -- it didn't do what I need

It wouldn't print on 11x17 paper in anything other that "Fast Draft" mode, even from Adobe Acrobat. It started crashing my application every other time I tried printing

I have printed artwork on papers of a variety of thickness - it easily takes up to 300g/m. by just using the ordinary paper tray. It is also easy to print on custom sizes of paper. It is easy to swap the cartridges from for photocolour and black...

Small sizes of paper don't always feed exactly straight and in the exactly the same place

HP Photosmart B8350 A3 Printer

Excellent quality prints at A3 size. Good Colour rendition, vast choice of paper formats and pretty easy to use. Prints ordinary documents very very quickly.

Slow if printing a full colour print at A4 or A3 but the quality is excellent. Ink cartridges could be a bit cheaper as I have to change them frequently (but I suppose that has to be expected if I print a lot of A4 size prints.
