HP PSC 1410 ALL-IN-ONE Printer

At $80 (as 4/1/2006), the PSC 1410 is one of the least expensive inkjet multifunction devices we've reviewed. We found it a good option for a novice PC user.

Inexpensive ; Very Good photo quality

No LCD display ; Lacks media card reader

If you're in the market for a no-nonsense multifunction printer that provides acceptable output quality at a great price, the PSC 1410 could be one to compare other entry-level models against

HP PSC 1410 All-in-One

The HP PSC 1410 All-in-One is a low-cost option for light-duty printing, scanning, and copying.

Small size. High end of good ratings for text, graphics, and photos. Prints, copies, and scans.

No automatic document feeder. No fax. Only a small savings over other all-in-ones that offer similar features and much faster performance.

HP PSC 1410

This is an All In One sometimes called a Multi Function Unit. It is an Inkjet Printer, Flatbed Scanner and a Colour Copier all in one very small package.

HP PSC 1410

The HP PSC 1410 is a low-cost, all-in-one solution. It’s as basic as you can get for one of these units and feels cheap and plasticky.

Could be better

If you can afford it, get the HP 5610. If you can't, get this one - you won't be disappointed, but you also won't be ecstatic.

Multifunction, cheap, good print and scan quality

Not very durable. I've owned two of these, and neither have broken, but one has begun to squeak as it scans after 4 months - it sounds like it's about to go. I don't regret buying them, but next time I'd go for a new HP 5610 (I own one of these and...

Seriously...

Ok, So I've went through the other reviews and tried to sort things out. I've used this printer for almost 16 months now and still works great. Cancelling a print job takes 2 seconds after choosing to cancel it from the job queue "IT ISN'T THE PRINTERS...

I have gotten tired of the negative reviews and the so called people with high understanding rating it. So, this is my experience with it. Flawless printing. Very good printing quality. Cancelling a print is almost instant. Cartridges are refillable....

The drivers that came with the CD are bulky and un-necessary. It didn't come with a usb cable which is standard nowadays althought it would've been nice if the cable was included. There isnt a 64bit drivers for it yet

Suits my wife

I have found Acer's included software to be quite useful and I even prefer it over what I had been using. Also the power management software that it comes with is handy and the whole machine is user friendly, highly recommended if you want a laptop...

My wife is happy with it and that's good enough for me

Can't find generic ink refills and depending on how much she uses it...it could get costly. No USB cable included
