Kodak Easyshare 5500 All-In-One Color Inkjet MFP

Poky speed and a high price detract from this multifunction printer's useful small-office/home-office and shutterbug features.

Cheap ink ; automatic duplexing ; Good mix of photo, office features

Very expensive ; Expensive ; a little slow ; no networking

Kodak deserves credit for its economical inks and focus on photo quality. Unfortunately, these attributes together cannot overcome the EasyShare 5500 All-In-One's disappointing speed and fairly high price

Kodak EasyShare 5500 All-in-One printer review

In its attempt to do everything, the $300 Kodak EasyShare 5500 All-in-One printer fails to do any one thing well. To use some features of this multifunction inkjet is an exercise in frustration; other features, such as photo editing, are entirely...

Decent print quality; built-in memory card slots; two host USB ports; dedicated 4x6 photo paper tray; automatic document feeder; cheap replacement ink.

Slow prints and scans; no onboard photo-editing options; relies heavily on included Kodak software for extended feature sets, rather than putting features on the control panel; can't do anything with the printer if an ink tank is empty; fax feature set...

Kodak packs a host of features in the EasyShare 5500, but fails to flesh them out sufficiently. We found this all-in-one printer frustrating to use.

Kodak EasyShare 5500 AiO Printer

The Kodak EasyShare 5500 All-in-One does just about everything you might desire from an AiO (All in One) printer. The 5500 allows you to print, copy, scan, and fax all from one device. This printer is fast, cranking out a 4 x 6 color print in as little...

Kodak really shows their 100+ years of experience with photographic print technology. The 5500 uses pigmented ink, instant-dry papers, and a high-speed printing system that generates beautiful prints. Your crisp black text documents and brilliant color...

Kodak EasyShare 5500

Kodak may be offering the cheapest photo prints, but does the rest of the spec add up?

Low cost, Stylish, Good build quality

Fiddly to use controls, Slow performance, Clunky autofocus

Kodak EasyShare 5500 printer

Kodak's claim for the EasyShare 5300 that it had running costs 50% lower than competing products; priced around £200, the 5500 offers more or less the same feature set but boosted with more serious office additions. For a kick off, you get built-in fax...

Ease of use, consumables price, photo quality prints, versatile

Big and heavy, no proper Wi-Fi, print speeds slower than claimed

Low priced printing at home or the office is a real bonus and Kodak worked hard to develop this AiO, ink and paper system that works well and presses the print costs button too.
