Kodak HERO 5.1 All-in-One Printer

The Kodak HERO 5.1 All-in-One Printer is a worthy choice for a budget MFP geared to home use.

Automatic duplexer. Ports for USB thumb drive and memory cards. Low claimed running cost for color printing.

Slightly subpar graphics output. Lacks Ethernet connectivity.

Kodak hero 5.1

The hero 5.1, first of the new range of hero printers from Kodak, takes the remote printing route HP pioneered with ePrint, but goes with Google Cloud instead.

Easy wireless connection, Straightforward controls, Print red-green 3D images

No separate photo tray, External power supply block, Little control over Cloud Prints

Kodak Hero 5.1 review

The fearsome quartet of HP, Epson, Canon and Lexmark may appear to have had the inkjets market sewn up between them over the last few years. But Kodak has been quietly and efficently digging its way in.

The Kodak Hero 5.1 isn’t the slickest or most stylish printer we’ve seen. And its speed is slightly uninspiring in places. But it proved reliable in our tests, comes with a multitude of connectivity options, and its running costs are remarkable. It...

Kodak Hero 5.1 review

A compact all-in-one that packs in plenty of features, the Hero 5.1 is a great little home printer.

Small and stylish, good quality prints, WiFi connectivity and cloud printing, low running costs

Printing a little slow, combined colour cartridge

At just under a hundred quid, the Kodak Hero 5.1 is an all-in-one printer, copier and scanner that’s a little pricier than similarly specified machines. With low running costs and excellent quality results though, it’s the perfect choice as a family...

Kodak Hero 5.1 review

With the Hero series, Kodak is trying to reinvent the all-in-one printer for home users. The status quo has been that you pay peanuts for hardware and a packet for the ink. Kodak's printers are a little more expensive, but running costs are...

fantastic printer for the price

Easy to set up (first time I've had a wireless one and managed to set it up myself without having to ask the grandkids lol) . Using it for printing off e-mails etc and it is so easy to use. My grandkids have had fun using the cloud printing for...

Good purchase

Very good printer. A little noisy upon start-up but I think this is inherent in modern printers. Too early to comment any further as I have not had printer very long.

Great printer

I bought this because of good reviews and cheap ink. It was very easy to setup wirelessly, just follow the instructions on the screen. Print quality seems very good. It is easy to use and good value. A minor critisism is that it is a bit noisy, not...

Great buy

It's perhaps a bit early to be asked to write a review as only used for a couple of weeks. It was very straight forward to set up following excellent instructions and works very well as a wireless printer/scanner with a half strength signal.Printing...

Kodak Hero 5.1

None, except easy to install

Do not buy any Kodak printers in this range! In 2 years, I have had 2 print head and a power supply fail, and the information about saving money on print cartridges is a lie, without being used heavily (light home use), the cartridges dry out quickly...
