Priced at just $499 (as of March 7, 2007), the nicely designed Lexmark C530dn offers high-quality double-sided color printing.

High print quality ; Built-in duplexer

No paper tray options ; Good standard paper capacity

The Lexmark C530dn is a good match for a small office in need of good-quality color output. Its ability to handle double-sided printing helps you save on paper, partially offsetting the cost of color printing and making the standard paper trays go farther

Text LCD isn't backlit; C530dn model doesn't have expandable paper handling options; color handling could use some minor improvements; lacks straight pass-through printing.

With fast speeds and impressive print quality, the Lexmark C530dn is a great color laser printer for the price. We prefer it over a more expensive color printer from the competition.

Lexmark C530dn colour laser printer

The Lexmark C530dn's USP (unique selling point) is it offers duplex (double-sided) printing at a budget price. While all the other models here have duplex as an optional feature, this typically adds £100 to the price.

With poor build quality and output overall, duplex printing on the Lexmark C530dn isn't quite the killer feature that it could be.

Great Printer! Best Value for a Color Laser

This printer is a great value for a high quality color laser. I had an issue with the printer at first (turned out to be nothing) but Lexmark tech/customer support was great.
