Lexmark Lexmark Z1300

If nothing else, Lexmark's Z1300 inkjet printer is extremely inexpensive. On the other hand, it's minimally equipped and pretty slow, and its inks are among the most expensive available. Because its photo quality on special paper is so good, however,...

Extremely inexpensive; good photo output

Very slow printing graphics; pricey inks

The Z1300's photo printing is its best attribute, but the ink is too pricey for high-volume users.

Lexmark Z1300

Subtract the cost of the ink cartridge it comes with, and the price of the Lexmark Z1300 comes out to six dollars.

Low, low price. Reasonable speed (given the price) for business applications. Reasonably high-quality graphics.

Relatively poor text and photo quality. Photos are not even slightly water-resistant.

Lexmark Z1300 - printer - color - ink-jet review: Lexmark Z1300 - printer - color - ink-jet

Lexmark Z1300 - printer - color - ink-jet

Seriously? It's only $25. It also features surprisingly fast print speeds, and the debris guard is a thoughtful touch.

Print quality could use some refining. The bundled productivity software is limited. But seriously--it's $25.

The Lexmark Z1300 isn't for everyone, but, for users who want to spend the bare minimum for occasional prints, it's quite a bargain.

Lexmark Z1300

With a huge number of color inkjet multifunction printers jockeying for space on the shelves of office superstores, it can be easy to forget the humble, single-function printer. While it seems like an archaic relic, the single-function printer--though...

Lexmark Z1300 Review and Prices

The Lexmark Z1300 may be one of the least expensive color printers available, but you get what you pay for. This is a surprisingly mediocre color printer, and its consumable costs will consistently hammer away at your budget; in fact, depending on...

Inexpensive, includes 4- and 6-color printing capabilities

Expensive ink, doesn't include a black cartridge, text quality is only fair

Works good for truck driver

Having an office in the cab of a tractor can be trying. First their is no 115 volt outlet. Power for the laptop and printer is limited to 300 watts. Space is also at a premium, so size is important(quit it, Newegg is NOT in that business) simply put it...

Cheap price and has enough setting to allow for custom settings. Low power usage, laptop and printer share a 300 watt inverter. Replacement ink easily found. Small footprint. Works with Vista if instructions are followed. ie insert disk and run...

Loud. Has the annoying LEXMARK ""Printing Started"" and ""Printing Complete"" vocals. Paper guide at bottom so will sometimes offtrack 1/4 inch max if you don't have the guide set tight.

good printer for the price.

for $40, this is perfect for someone who's going to be printing papers and documents with simple pictures or graphs. may not be a perfect product for colorful artistic work or crisp photos, but a good single-function printer without a bunch of bells...

prints quickly, the included sample ink cartridge prints colors and blacks fairly well, so i'm sure that when i get real cartridges and some black ink it'll be even better

colors are a bit muddy and blended with each other, and are accurate but seem light on the page. may just be the settings or a result of only using the sample ink cartridge

Junk printer

Yeah, I know, people don't like Vista, but it's what's out there now. I bought this printer while at an Army school to use with my laptop. The printer was slower than pond water and the printer program would lock up every time I tried to use it. It...

Cheap enough that it won't bother me too much to throw it in the trash

No black ink, no USB cable. Doesn't play well with Vista
