Lexmark X8350

By no means a speedy printer, the Lexmark X8350 handily prints, scans, copies, and faxes, as well as printing directly from cameras and memory cards.

Printer, scanner, and standalone copier and fax machine. Automatic document feeder. Direct printing from memory cards and cameras.

Below-par text quality. Relatively slow print speeds.

HardwareCentral - Lexmark X8350 All-in-One Review.

Taking roughly 18 by 21 inches of desk space and standing 10 inches tall, the X830 connects to a PC's USB 2.0 port (cable not included). Like the X7170, it skips most Lexmark inkjets' vertical paper path for a photocopier-style front drawer, from which...

The X8350's specification sheet promises speeds of up to 25 pages per minute for black and 19 ppm for color printing. Also as with every inkjet device on the planet, we couldn't reproduce those results in real use, with our stopwatch clocking a...

Lexmark X8350 All-in-One Review

That said, Lexmark's software bundle is first-rate, with options that walk you through tasks such as scanning a document to a PDF file, e-mail attachment, or word processor via Abbyy's FineReader OCR (optical character recognition). Newsoft's Presto...

A reasonable photo all-in-one that really shows its strength with speedy text printing. A decent alternative if you need office functions as a backup on your photo setup.

Quick text printing

Print quality a little lacking

Lexmark X8350 All-in-One Printer

Lexmark's X8350 all-in-one machine hits the spot with multiple functions and decent quality for less than £100.

The X8350 is a well-conceived all-in-one machine, ideal for anybody working from home or in a small office. Its dual abilities to send faxes and to print from memory cards, as well as the core print, scan and copy functions, make it a real all-rounder....

Lexmark X8350

This MFD attempts to offer all things to all people. Combining printer, scanner, copying and fax functions within one bulky unit, the X8350 goes further than most. MFDs are usually slanted towards the home market or the business world, but the Lexmark...

The X8350 is a decent buy for businesses; home users looking to reproduce their photos may not find it quite as satisfying. The software is good and the feature-set is impressive, but at £200 it's perhaps a little expensive.

Covering All Options : Lexmark X8350 Multi-Function Device

In an effort to cover as many options as possible, Lexmark has released the X8350 Multi-Function Device.

I would hazard a guess that checking out your friendly local computer store would reveal a wider choice of All-in-Ones or Multi-Function Devices (MFD) rather than standalone printers especially with regards to the variety. While there may be...

Lexmark - X8350

This all-in-one machine from Lexmark fits the term better than most. As well as the usual functions of printing, scanning and copying, it has an automatic sheet feeder, memory card readers and fax functions. The X8350 ...

Lexmark's X8350 is an excellent all-round office machine. The extra functions provided by the automatic sheet feeder, fax support and memory card readers are well integrated through the device's comprehensive software bundle. Both print quality and...

Fine Printer

I did not buy this printer but the 8300 which the 8350 replaced. Both are the same. I've owned it for over 6 months now with no issues. Others stated that there is issues with a network. I had no trouble setting this up between 3 PC's (XP,XP, and 2000)...

Great print Quality and very speedy

None..accept the black ink runs low fairly quick if your printing photos

Acceptable

If you have a mixed-OS environment look for a printer from a company other than LexMark.

The photo scanning/printing is good for the price (has trouble with greens/blues). Good printing speed. I was able to send a fax from it. Photo scanning menu options/tools are impressive

Lexmark fails to support anything other than Windows (no Linux/Mac OS). The ink cartridges are tiny and expensive! The drivers are bi-directional so you may have trouble using this printer on a network printer server device
