Samsung CLP-775ND

The Samsung CLP-775ND provides solid output quality and good paper handling as a workhorse color laser printer for small to mid-sized offices.

Good standard and optional paper handling. High monthly duty cycle for its price.

No port for USB key or memory-card slot. Pricey optional WiFi. Somewhat slow for its rated speed.

Samsung CLP-775DN review: A Midpriced Workhorse Color Laser

Samsung's CLP-775ND color laser printer has power to spare for a busy workgroup, at a midrange price of $750 (as of September 21, 2011). It breaks no new ground in output quality--photos are a challenge for it, as they are for most color lasers; but...

Lots of paper capacity ; Economical toner ; Fast at printing text and photos

Photo quality is grainy

Efficient speed and paper handling, and reasonably priced toner, are this workgroup model's strengths. Photo quality is adequate.

Samsung CLP-775ND review

The Samsung CLP-775ND is a fast colour laser that is economical both initially and over time. Larger, busier workgroups may gravitate toward faster and pricier models such as the Lexmark c734dn, but the CLP-775ND should satisfy a wide swath of more...

Consumer review (newegg.com)

Didn't make it two years

I use this on a network of 12 users who print 200 or so pages per week, sometimes more.

It printed OK for a while

Cartridges require replacement often and are expensive ; Transfer belt requires replacement after a year or so and is $200 ; Warranty is 12 months ; Messy inside, leaves unwanted colors on paper ; Computers have to be configured to print in monochrome...

CLP-775ND

It's fast, it's compatible out of the box with Windows 2008 R2 and Win7, and the picture quality was amazing. It's also fairly quite for a large printer

They didn't have a second one that I could buy for home
