Prints fast and in large quantities, print is black and white and with toner saver can do 1500 pages per cartridge easily

Cartridges are horribly expensive, wifi printing is useless unless you own the router it's connected to, you cannot restrict users or monitor printing history. Scanning uses all of the ink due to black bars generally appearing around thicker items

The machine is reasonably priced and produces clear print at an acceptable speed. Samsung is, in my experience, a reliable manufacturer; I am optimistic that the printer will continue to work well.

Establishing a wireless connection to the printer requires an expert - even our computer engineer found it difficult. Our machine also printed incorrectly (small dots down the left-hand margin); we telephoned PC World and it was swiftly replaced. If I...

set-up and operating instructions supplied very sketchy usb cable supplied only 1m; wifi/bluetooth didnt work with printer 2m from hub

Windows 10, plugged in and worked first time without the Samsung software. Duplex printing: just take out printed pages and re-insert in the paper tray, software does the rest - no problem for smaller print runs.

No proper 'in' paper tray, so paper hangs out quite a bit. Usual invasive Samsung software that warns you it is collecting 'anonymous' data on use!
