Samsung SCX4720F ALL IN ONE Laser Printer

The Samsung SCX-4720F looks like the definitive monochrome laser multifunction printer: a big cube of a machine topped with an automatic document feeder. But Samsung goes beyond the basics with this MFP.

Samsung SCX-4720F

The Samsung SCX-4720F combines a monochrome laser printer, color scanner, and standalone copier and fax machine.

Very good text quality. Fifty-sheet ADF. Standalone fax and monochrome copier capability. Color scanner.

Slow performance for the engine speed. Does not include enough memory to print 8-by-10 photos at maximum resolution. Can't fax from computer.

Samsung SCX-4720F

Speedy scanning, printing, and copying; extensive standalone and fax features; upgradable memory and networking capabilities; automated document feeder; Windows and Linux compatible.

Bulky; limited USB flash drive capabilities; scanner lid not removable; lacks document catcher in the back.

The reliable, easy-to-use Samsung SCX-4720F has great performance but a few glitches, notably limitations on its USB flash drive reader.

Good Basic Printer

I use this multi function printer for all functions...printing, faxing, copying and scanning. However, if I would not recommend this if you are looking for enhanced features when using these other functions. I would not buy it again.

Very good print quality but low on features. Good work horse printer but the features for the other functions such as copying, faxing and scanning are very limited

The copy quality adjustment for the copy function is only 3 settings: light med. and dark - no variable adjustment or photo, etc ; Overall very limited multi function printer but a very good printer only
