The Samsung SCX-4729FD offers everything a small or home office needs in a mono laser MFP.

Prints, scans, faxes, and copies. Automatic document feeder. Duplex printing. Wired network support.

Relatively slow. Although text quality is good enough for most business use, it's a touch below par for a mono laser MFP.

The price was good... only paid about $119, but their customer service stinks.

Worked great until it stopped working. I have been getting the run-around from Samsung for 3 weeks now. I have had a technician out who said the printer needs to be replaced. Now they want to replace the toner. They won't just send a new one, I have to...

Good Bang for your Buck

 

Small footprint, great small office capabilities, and good price for what you get ; We have had great responses from customers that we have installed this at that need all-in-one capabilities ; Recommended for offices of 1-4

The starter toner is rated at 1,000 but you only get about 700 prints and it is a little more expensive to run when it comes down to a per copy/print charge

Seems to be a real fast laser printer and fax

Customer support is as always horrible, they don't know the product and read from a manual. it comes with printer software that is useless with regards to actually setting up the printer. wants a user name and password that NO ONE at Samsung seems to...

Samsung SCX-4729FD

 

Printer has good print quality and good quality scanning. However, it beeps quite loudly and the starter toner that came with only lasted one week. It is far better than the Brother printer we replaced. The envelope feed is excellent.

We needed a copier that could scan and print. This one seemed a bit cheap for what we needed. Turns out it was perfect. Fast and Excellent quality.
