I have it since 2005. The power on count is 2436 times today, has been used 665 days in the last 10 Years (piriform speccy)

Everything works but not perfect

Would give it 3.5, if the half mark is available.

Basic standalone functions copier, fax works out of box. Network interface is by default set to DHCP, which is a plug-in-and-play for most routers. You can set the static address on the machine itself, but I prefer to do it in router's firmware...

Do yourself a favor by NOT buying Samsung

Do yourself a favor and buy something like HP or Brother - something that you know will work out of the box.

Samsung makes ok printers, but the support is abysmal, which makes Samsung product not worth buying. I own one Samsung printer of ML series and one Samsung MFC of SCX series. Craftsmanship is ok. The quality of prints is good. Also, product life is...

Save your Money and buy another brand its cheaper in the long run

Overall a good printer and copier

If you are considering buying this as a scanner I would highly recommend you look somewhere else. I cannot get the scanner to connect to any SMTP server. It provides not error codes to explain the issue. The manual is a joke and the Tech Support staff...
