Lexmark E260dn

The Lexmark E260dn stubs its toe on text quality, but largely makes up for it with speed and paper handling that outclasses the competition.

Fast. Built-in duplexer for printing on both sides of the page. Standard 250-sheet capacity with 800-sheet maximum.

Although text is good enough for most business use, it's subpar for a laser.

A Lexmark Desktop Laser : Lexmark Laser E260dn

While colour will often enhance a document, sometimes all we really need is a crisp monochrome document such as delivered by a mono laser.

In the past I have checked out and worked with a number of Lexmark printers and multi-function devices. All these various models were based on inkjet technology. Now it is the turn of a Lexmark mono laser product, namely the E260dn, which is...

Lexmark E260DN networked mono laser printer

A good, fas - though slower than the specs - mono laser with duplex printing.

This is a good, general-purpose mono laser printer, with surprisingly fast duplex and a useful draft print mode. It's not as quick as Lexmark would have you believe, but still has a decent turn of speed. Running costs, while not as good as some of its...

Lexmark E260dn review

Sometimes a small, inexpensive networked printer makes more sense than using the monster printer down the hall. We examine this affordable unit from Lexmark.

A mid-range, mono laser printer with a good turn of speed, particularly when printing duplex. Cost per page is reasonable, though we have seen better, and print quality is also better than average. Maintenance is simple and shouldn't be too frequent,...
