Purchase this printer for sure just not the extended warranty.

Solid ink blends through paper after sitting in car

 

I only had the printer for a couple of days and the print quality was great.

The issue I had was I left a printed page sit in my car for a couple of hours in the southern California desert and the solid ink blend through the back of the page. Before purchasing I did contact Xerox to see if they had any issues with the solid ink...

Missing Items in Box Invalid Serial Number

 

This is a replacement for an 8570DN.

Appears to be working

NO documentation with printer. Downloaded driver and documentation from Xerox site. At this price, printer should come with documentation. Can't register printer with Xerox as it states the Serial Number is Invalid

The wax squares are easy to replace.

Gave nothing but troubles. When we got it, appeared to be new, had a European bios. had to get a tech out to flash it. About 6 months in, it needed an almost complete overhual. Before we replaced it, had a local printer tech inspect it, needed $400...
