The only other thoughts I have on this is that if you need it a bit more bright the next Dell Projector up would work well for you.

it has a great picture it is my first projector i use it when i rent a new movie the picture you cant beat the color are very good i got a cheap one off the internet it had blue and red line in it and i was amaze how good it was like it is that when i...

Backyard Movies Made Easy!

Easy to use, very quite, and provides great picture when supplying it feed from either Cable and DVD's Works great if it is completely dark outside. Works wonderful inside, bedroom and livingroom projections are great!

Adjustment foot is flimzy and mine broke off second time it was used. Focus adjustments could be bit better. Would be nice if a bit smaller in size

Great projector for the price.

This projector has far exceeded my expectations. I purchased it to show outdoor movies on my lawn and the results have been pretty spectacular. I'm projecting onto a 16 ft screen and am amazed that there's little perceptible image distortion. The image...

It lacks an HDMI input, which would be nice for connecting hi-def sources. The focus and height adjustments are kind of on the cheap side, but overall, I'd consider the negatives to be more in the "nice to have" category. I'd definitely recommend this...

Great Projector

I bought a RGB switch box and have all my hd RGB plugs going to it, then the RGB to VGA cable going to the projector from the switch box, works great.

Easy to set up and use, what a great picture. Don't spend more money for a top end machine when this baby will do what you need. I need to get a screen yet so have it on the wall and it is good, will only get better with a good screen. A great...

With todays drive for HDTV would be nice to have an HDMI input or two.

Great Value, Great Performance

This one has a great value for the performance. It gets the job done. We have this mounted in one of our conference rooms. Have a DVD player and laptop connected to it. Very nice picture. Never has failed us.

Sharp picture, bright too! Expands as greatly as other projectors. Lightwieght, fast turn on and off. Remote is very well made compared to older dell projector remotes.

Maybe not enough inputs for some applications.

1800MP

One of my best buy of the year.

Small and very quiet in eco-mode. Very clear and crisp display, ideal for movie in my basement. If you want to hook it to a AV receiver, plan to buy a VGA-Component cable. The auto-shutdown when no signal is present may help you save more of your lamp.

Projector is small, so buying a universal celling mount was harder.

buy one!

Remember when getting a dvd player than more expence is not always better. if you burn you'll need dvix/xvid capabilities. mullti region is good as well. of course most of you know this stuff already. ta!

Didn't want to spent thousands of dollars for a big(and bulky) screen tv, I live in a small apartment. With only twelve feet between my living room wall i get a five foot picture. fantastic color and picture. Don't even have a sceen, just project it on...

You'll need a dvd player for home theater or the lack of a fully functional remote will drive you nuts unless you have a computer with remote. Also get the cable kit for the 12oomp.(generic)

Dell projector heaven

In my book, projectors trump an TV/monitor on size and 'eye appeal'. Smaller than I thought it would be even though I read the dimension specs, and definitely a hands-down great piece of equipment that is more than worth the price they are...

Ease of operation, settings availablity, ECO mode, auto lamp shutoff...

Lamp warranty is only 90 days compared to another manufacturer that offers 1 year for similar lumens output. BUT that's the only CON -and its more with what Dell offered than what is a CON about the unit.
