Acer H5370BD

The Acer H5370BD gives you 720p HD resolution and 3D support with HDMI video devices at an attractively low price.

Inexpensive. Native 720p resolution. Two HDMI ports including one HDMI with MHL. 3D works directly with HDMI input.

Low volume with no audio output. No 3D glasses included.

The one potentially serious drawback for the Acer H5370BD is rainbow artifacts. If you see them easily, or worry that someone you watch with might, you're far better off with an LCD projector like the Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 710HD, which is...

Acer H5370BD Home Video Projector

The Acer H5370BD is a 720p 3D projector which at $549 is a great value in home entertainment

The Acer H5370BD is perhaps the least expensive way to bring 3D into your home. At $549, this 720p projector is equipped for both home video and home theater, and its highly adjustable light output makes it easy to go from the living room to the...

Fantastical

I did some research before buying this one and in my opinion it was the best projector in it's class/price range (the price has gone up since I bought it significantly, but this is still probably true). For 720p and the feature-set, this is a good buy....

Decently bright. You still need a pretty dark room to avoid washing the image out. It's fine with some daylight (like thin curtains) or a lamp with a low watt bulb ; 720p. I moved up from a 480 projector and the difference is night and day ; HDMI. It...

Looking around for bulbs, they are about $225 when I looked. I did some math while I was waiting for the delivery (which may or may not be accurate) and I seem to recall coming up with a average 4 year lifespan with 3 hours a day average view time ;...

Works Great

So I've owned this projector for about 7 months now as part of my 'theater room' project and I have almost no complaints about it, I haven't even thought about upgrading it either. I project on to a 70" screen about 11 ft away and it looks excellent....

Cheap Price ; 720p resolution ; 3D ; Lots of inputs

Problems switching sources using a/v receiver (due to HDCP?) (Dr HDMI fixed this problem)

decent projector

This projector is very bright even in eco mode, I have no difficulty in watching movies in both daytime and night. 3D works, but the glasses are relatively expensive. Colors very vivid, fan noise is acceptable

Sometimes response slowly, need to reboot even when change the color mode ; no speaker output, need to use an amplifier

GLAD I BOUGHT IT

I spent a lot of time looking at getting either a big (preferrebly 70 inch) TV or projector. As usual walked away with nothing. Can't take the weighing of this over that for too long. That's when I realized inexpensive is really what floats my boat...

Great color. Standard wide screen. 3D, particularly 2D-3D. Price...after the $50 cut, I paid what for 3D and a massive screen size? $400

Mostly problems associated with all projectors. Video sync is slower than a standard TV, not as bright as a TV. Uses more power, more noise (fan) and high heat producing. Small compared to all the benefits though. I did have problems setting up Crysis...

Acer H5370BD

The nubs that act as stands aren't that great, but most people won't use those anyways.

Just got mine, worked great right out of the box. I have mine setup about 8ft away which gives about a 68in wide picture. I watched "Planet Earth" which I had on Blu Ray, and it was visually stunning, even being projected on a textured wall. The...

Very good projector

Picture needed to be adjusted by picking a focus with the switch and turning the lens, picture became very sharp afterwards, even in a room that is not all that dark it stands out very well

Picture is very sharp, price very good for what we got

Unit only has 2 legs, center and on one side for balancing projector, third "leg" is just a nub, makes no sense

Since this was my first projector I didn't really know what to expect but wasn't really willing to spend a lot of money considering all of the nightmare stories I have heard about them failing or having to replace expensive bulbs. Received this...
