Anker Nebula Capsule 3 Review

1080p native resolution; supports 4K input ; Good shadow detail in HDR ; Built-in Google TV with Netflix ; Highly portable, at 1.9 pounds ; Includes onboard battery

Low rated brightness ; No 3D support

Just a little bigger than a soda can, the 1080p Anker Nebula Capsule 3 projector delivers more-than-acceptable quality plus robust audio, making it an excellent mini projector.

Anker Nebula Capsule 3 Laser Review

Impressive image quality ; 1080p native resolution; supports 4K input ; Handles HDR far better than most native 1080p models ; Built-in Android TV 11 ; Bright 300 ANSI lumens rating using AC power ; Lightweight

Needs some minor tweaking to get good image quality ; No Netflix support in Android TV 11 ; No 3D support

Barely larger than a soda can, the 1080p Anker Nebula Capsule Laser 3 mini projector is easy to set up, delivers impressive image quality, and even doubles as a Bluetooth speaker.

Anker Nebula Capsule 3 Review: An ultraportable cinema experience

Take your movies everywhere with the Anker Nebular Capsule 3

Super portable ; Excellent design ; Vivid 1080p images ; Built-in Google TV streaming ; Surprisingly potent audio ; Wi-Fi streaming

Want more than 2.5 hours of battery life ; Would love more than 200 lumens, but it is the size of a can of soda

The Anker Nebula Capsule 3 is perfect for family movie-watching in the backyard, sleepovers, and camping. Ultra-portable, with excellent audio, the Nebula Capsule 3 packs a lot of cinema-quality features into a tiny form factor.

Anker Nebula Capsule 3 Laser Projector Review

The Anker Nebula Capsule 3 Laser points the way to a new generation of sophisticated laser-driven pico projectors, but it lacks the brightness of some LED competitors.

Maintenance-free laser illumination ; HD 1080p resolution ; Battery-power option ; Excellent auto-focus

Lacks enough brightness for ambient light viewing ; No authorized Netflix app

By using the latest advances in engineering, the $800 Anker Nebula Capsule 3 Laser points the way to a new generation of laser-driven pico projectors. It offers HD resolution, a nice color balance, and light output that's enough for a modestly-sized...

Anker Nebula Capsule 3 Laser Review

Small and easy to carry around, the Anker Nebula Capsule 3 Laser is a great little projector for taking movies on the go

Bold colours ; Powerful audio ; Small size

Expensive ; Side-loading Netflix doesn’t work very well

Small and easy to carry around, the Anker Nebula Capsule 3 Laser is a great little projector for taking movies on the go. It’s loud and its laser backlight does a good job of resolving detail, handling shadows well while producing rich colours,...

Anker Nebula Capsule 3 review

Is Anker's new portable projector a barrel of laughs?

Excellent auto set-up system ; Cute, well-built, genuinely pocket-sized design ; Good SDR performance

Not very bright ; Weak black levels with HDR ; Feels a little expensive

It’s small enough to fit in a pocket and performs well in the right circumstances, but the Capsule 3 is too limited to get a thorough recommendation
