Asus S1 Mobile LED Projector

The Asus S1 Mobile LED Projector is a stylish mini projector with a rechargeable battery and the ability to charge other mobile devices.

Modest price. Short throw. Long-lasting LED light source. Built-in rechargeable battery. Can charge other mobile devices attached to it. Mobile High-Definition Link (MHL)-enabled for Android connectivity.

Low brightness and resolution for its size. Limited connection choices. Not good at displaying small text.

The Asus S1 Mobile LED projector is a capable and snazzy mini projector, with some nice touches like MHL connectivity, an internal battery, and the ability to charge other devices, all at a modest price. It's worth considering if text quality isn't...

Review: Asus S1 | Well-chosen Compromise Asus S1

Asus S1 has only one goal in mind: to provide the best picture quality for the money from a very compact format.

Good brightness and short throw distance make the projector usable in many contexts. Here you get a lot for your money!

The black level is limited, and what you get out of this resolution is limited. HDMI is the only connection.

The Asus S1 is a compact travel projector with 200 Lumens, and is among the brightest in its class. It does not have the best black level, but with natural colors and short throw distance combined with a good battery life, the compromise is still one...

ASUS S1 Pocket Projector

The ASUS S1 fits in your palm, a handy little projector for travel

The ASUS S1 sits in a comfortable niche between competing pocket projectors that are similarly portable but not as bright, and 300- and 500-lumen models that are brighter, not as portable, and more expensive. Unfortunately, if you need to use an image...

Review: ASUS S1 Pocket Projector

Projector technology has advanced to the point where we now have relatively inexpensive portable projectors that are compact and convenient for travel, personal and small-office use and decent enough for playing back movies. The ASUS S1 Projector is...

The ASUS S1 brings a combination of portability (it weighs less than a pound), long life (30,000 hours) and pricing that will make it an attractive option for anyone seeking a pocket projector or a great holiday present.

Great little inexpensive projector

I use this in the bedroom and often fall asleep with it on. I'm glad to see when theres is no input recognized, it shuts down. So while theres no sleep timer built in to the projector it self, if I set my inputs sleep timer it shuts everything down.

Wasn't expecting to much as I picked this up for $259 on sale, I was pleasantly surprised. This little guy looks great at 10' away it's projecting 125" and is still clear enough for viewing with my chromecast connected in the bedroom. Loved the tripod...

Only fault this guy has is it doesn't come with a remote and has no IR sensor to use a universal remote. Every time I want to use it I have to climb up and hit the power button. I knew this before buying so I'm not knocking off any eggs but a sensor to...

Suits my needs perfectly

I'm a sailor and I need to pack all my gear including laptop, tablet, phone, projector and all of the associated cords and ac adapters. To be able to bring all my electronics aboard the ship it all needs to be very efficient and easy to pack. The Asus...

-Very small and portable. -Accurate colors including whites and blacks. -Beautiful finish and solid feel. -Very easy to use right out of the box. -Nice projector sleeve that fit's into a separate zippered soft case that also holds all the necessary...

Although not a con for me, some may prefer more connectivity other than the HDMI connection. Also not a con for me, there is no remote. I'm quite happy to control everything from my phone, tablet or laptop.

Very Happy

Loving this projector; so far only 2 cons that i can think of; 1) is the carrying case; its fine if you don't want to carry all the cables that come with it, not to mention any adapters you may need to buy; I bought for business use and need to carry...

Portable, easy to use, great sound quality considering the size, great picture quality, love that it doubles as a power source.

carrying case, lens issue??
