Dell M209X

My initial reaction, upon first powering up the M209X is that it is bright, especially for such a small projector. As is common with DLP projectors, the overall color accuracy leaves something to be desired when the projector is in its brightest modes,...

Extremely bright for a tiny "micro-portable" projector Ability to lock onto many much higher resolution sources Extremely portable Good (though not exceptional) image sharpness Very nice, compact remote control, even for those with large hands HDMI...

Zoom lens is only 1.1:1 for minimum flexibility (though not unusual for projectors this size) Despite TI's Brilliant Color, the Dell suffers the classic DLP projector problem doing bright reds and yellows, in the brighter modes (although not bad in the...

Only the traditional red/yellow handling issue in brightest modes, can be seen as a weakness, and as I have pointed out, you can still get out very good reds and yellows, but only about half of its maximum brightness, when needed

Dell M209X

Small, stylish and powerful.

Small size, powerful light output

No USB cable, difficult remote usage

Dell’s M209X is light, well-priced and has a high brightness level. If you can look past the fiddly remote, it’s a great portable data projector.

Dell M209X projector

The Dell M209X is a dependable projector that's inexpensive to maintain — as long as you don't mind the dull colours.

Inexpensive, long lasting lamp ; Very compact and portable ; Excellent contrast

Shiny control panel smudges easily ; Dull colours ; Menu is not simple
