Has a microSD card slot for loading presentation slides, Accepts HDMI and has a USB port to read files from, Project up to a 100 inch image, AVI, MOV, MP4, 3GP (Common video formats are converted using 3M Pico Video Encoder*), LED light source rated at...

Priced on the high side with a MSRP of $799, Projector and included power supply together make the overall weight and size large, Does not run on off battery power, More expensive than projectors with more features and higher brightness

Well, if you have read the previous pages from this review you can already tell I am a pretty big fan of this projector. The only area that leaves me on the fence is the MSRP of $799 for a projector that is only a few hundred less than some really nice...

LG HX300G

LG's offering into the microportable category of LED projectors is the HX300G. It is a rather unique projector with some unexpected features. The HX300G is a native XGA projector (1024x768 pixels) that has a specified lumen rating of 270. The HX300G...

Darker environments with fairly low ambient light. The HX300G does pretty well because of its brightness in rooms where ambient light is greater

LG Electronics HX300G Review

The LG HX300G is a rock-solid, highly capable microportable presentation projector. Up to 300 lumens and a bevy of useful features make it a great choice for anyone presenting in front of small groups.

A small and light projector but brightness is lacking

Small and light ; Decent image quality ; Connections

Limited brightness ; Power pack adds weight

re-review

with the new numerous wireless speakers out there the low sound output is no longer a problem -i most certainly will not be buying any new flat screen tvs in the future - at less than 500 - maybe a projector with resolution upgrade

Just wanted to throw another review out there - i have owned this for almost a year now - i thought for sure more would have been sold by now - i use this projector at home and also take it with me camping AWESOME - i use a $20 piece of backing fabric...

need a fairly dim setting - without sound add on it is hardly audible = the resolution could be better but hooked up to a decent reciever the picture has no complaints from me

lg hx300g

i noticed a small scratch on the lens - hopefully it won't be noticed on screen - and I don't feel like going through the hassel of returning it.

compact, lightweight, price, led long lasting bulb - good picture on a flat white wall - better when i get my screen (60x80 and electric for 61.00 after 30 off for credit card sign up) i hope - this will save you some surfing FAVI 4:3/100-Inch...

100 inch max screen with good viewing - it aint 1080p - the web site says 3 year warranty but when i got the projector lg says its 2 years

Great Little Projector

This a fantastic little projector. While you won't get top of the line 1080p video, you shouldn't expect that. If you want an easy to use, portable, great looking projector, look no further. I have this set up for use in both my bedroom and living...

Very portable ; Comes with its own carrying case ; Good selection of inputs (and accepts 1080p) ; Remote control ; Good menu / OSD ; Rated for 30k hours of use ; Plays video/music from USB drive

Limited to 1024x768 ; Black level not super ; Ghosting/blur during high-motion video (tested with Transformers DotM and Avatar), and with animated shows (Family Guy, Simpsons) ; Cannot use in mid- or high-level lighting ; On-board speakers...

Love this thing

If you don't need a full HD projector, or daylight viewing, then this is the right choice.

Great colors. Great menu. Great input options. Really really small. LED

Just wish it was full HD. Not bright enough to view in daylight (duh)

It's ok

Colors are oversaturated and contrast is too high out of the box. But I'm mostly happy with the picture after making some adjustments. Rainbow effect from the DLP is not super noticeable in this projector. I've seen it only a few times. I previously...

1024x768 resolution is the highest for current LED projectors ; Actually usable as a computer monitor when driving at the native resolution with digital keystone correction off; text is very sharp ; Fan is reasonably quiet with LED set to "economic"...

1024x768 is still a bit on the low side ; Its more expensive than non-LED projectors that have the same or higher resolution. For only 1 to 2 hundred more, you could get 1080p. However, this projector uses less electricity and won't ever need a bulb...

Amazing

Oh forgot to mention that it is workable with ambient lights and realllllly pulling it with bright lights (like the sun). When it is dark, everything pops out like a regular ole projector :) To me the black is black so you will love the high contrast...

I own an Optoma HD65 and no way is it comparable in terms of resolution. Color and usability wins hands down with this extremely tiny projector. Others have complained that it is obnoxiously loud and it is NOT trust me. Most of us aren't bothered by...

1024x768 is really limiting ; No Zoom
