LG M237WD

The LG M237WD pulls double duty as an HDTV and a desktop monitor.

Good HD picture quality. Generous selection of ports. Excellent text readability.

Weak grayscale performance. Mediocre standard definition quality. Low powered, wobbly speakers.

LG M237WD

LG's M237WD is a 23-inch widescreen LCD monitor that integrates a digital TV tuner, complete with a remote, to double as an HDTV.

Lastly, the on-screen menu was a little tough to get used to. The buttons are on the right edge of the monitor, so you’ll either have to lean sideways to see the options or memorize the buttons' locations.

Exactly what I bought it for

Bought this for my apartment (at college) primarily as a second monitor and HD screen for my 360. Currently have it hooked up via VGA to computer (HDMI cables on the way) and quality is awesome. Upon connecting it, the monitor automatically adjusts...

Built solid. Tons of inputs. Beautiful picture. Easy to use and intuitive menu's. Aspect ratio conversion ; It's a monitor with an HDTV built in... What more can you ask for? Absolutely perfect for dorm room/bedroom environment

None really, darks could be a little darker but hey, the picture is amazing none the less, just not perfect

Lovely

As a monitor I have no complaints about it. Ubuntu and my graphics card sometimes argue about how to best display on the monitor before settling down...but this is only happens sometimes at bootup.

Tons of input, easy to switch around them and great for watching movies on my PC. The amount of desktop space I now get to work with is amazing (you can have 2 windows side by side @ great display sizes). Also great for reading pdfs and what-nots when...

Would have been nice if it shipped with a DVI and HDMI cable. Other than that, the only problem I have is that I am forced to choose between watching movies and doing my homework each time I sit infront of my monitor

buy this

this thing is amazing, i currently have my ps2, ps3, and pc hooked up to this baby, and i still have room for an xbox 360. (like id want to put one of those on here though) i literally just paused my game, switched inputs, and am now writing this...

the stand that it sits on, while it does screw in, seems a tiny bit weak. nothin big though, swivels and adjusts just fine
